Malaysian Container Lines Sdn Bhd (MCL), although founded as recently as 1997, has evolved into a very strong player in shipping in Malaysia and Port Klang in particular.
Main activities of MCL is being shipping agents and are proud to be the agents for Maldives National Shipping Ltd. A Maldives Government owned National carrier.
Apart from shipping agency MCL is also equipped with forwarding & clearing Department, handle container documents and clearance for over 100 customers using Port Klang North & West Ports.

Our professional staff is individually given the responsibility to handle each departmental affair to cater services to the needs of principals, customers and allied bodies. The majority of them have been with the company since the beginning.
MCL takes special pride in serving Maldives Customers both shippers and consignees. We provide a complete package of collecting cargo from the factory, process container clearance and forwarding cargo to ship and invoice the consignee in Male’ for all services. This means the Male’ consignee can deal directly with the manufacturer in Malaysia and place the order for him and we do all the rest of it and get paid only when the consignee receives the cargo in Male’.
Our scope of operation is not just in Malaysia , but the entire world. Customer satisfaction has always been a benchmark of MCL.
